Sarah Hand, having spent years gaining qualifications and experience away from Plymouth, returned to her home town to set up this new venture.
Creating Causes have consulted on all aspects of setting up the new business, from chosing the domain name, designing and launching the site, designing and printing stationary and business cards, and assisting with admin.
The search engine optimized site is based on the WordPress blog format, making it very easy to maintain and develop as the business grows.
Counter Threat Group – Website design, photography & management for global security services & training company
Working directly with the CEO on this project gathering images and video from International Operations, this high profile site delivers the vast majority of business to this company.
The good design, the relevant content and the SEO techniques employed on this site ensure that it is one of the best ranking close protection bodyguard services and training websites currently online.

Elements of Wellness – Website design & photography for North Carolina, USA based acupuncture therapy practice
This customized WordPress site was developed for a boutique Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine practice based in Asheville, North carolina.
Taking time to understand what would work best for the client, I took the photographs for the website reflecting the serene nature of the work and environment at the practice. The site is now being developed to include more information, including a blog area where the practitioners will regularly post.
Garage – Website design for New Jersey Burger & Ice Cream restaurant
The customized WordPress site reflects the building structure and marketing of this new Jersey retro Burger & Ice Cream restaurant.
The client required a fresh website to connect with the local community, weaving in with their social media groups.
Garth Williams – Logo, Business Card & Website design for Plymouth Property maintenance contractor
Creating Causes work in the same office as fast growing Plymouth Maintenance Contractor Garth Williams.
We consulted on his requirements, developing a WordPress CMS custom site for him, while also creating logos and business cards.
He is able to manage the site himself with simple instruction, and add new news and image galleries moving forward highlighting work completed and new company news.

Jeff Altman – Website design & site management tuition for New York, USA based recruitment consultant
Working with Jeff – a highly regarded recruitment consultant in New York City, we developed this site according to his needs several years ago.
After tuition from Creating Causes, he also developed a collection of similarly themed sites which Jeff has now developed into highly profitable sites generating significant revenue from Google Ad Words.
Site designed in CSS with Flash elements – we also recorded and edited the audio according to the client’s wishes.
Living Through Dying – Website design & site management for New York, USA based documentary Film Maker
Marcia Urbin Raymond, a New York Documentary Film maker and Lupus sufferer, worked on this Lupus documentary trilogy series over 10 years.
Once completed she asked Creating Causes to develop a website for her, allowing the trailers of the videos to be shown, for users to be able to purchase direct from the website, and for there to be ongoing interaction and direct management.
The WordPress website was custom designed for her needs, Youtube channels were set up, as well as Paypal shopping cart functionality. Ongoing social media marketing ia taking place with Facebook group having been established.
Liz Lomax – Website design & site management tuition for New York, USA based award winning artist & scupltor
Liz asked for a website to reflect her unique artistic outlook, whilst combining her popular blog, and highlighting her incredible work, dovetailing with her various social media accounts.
After several months of development and finessing, she was delighted with the finished site. With careful consideration during the design process and subsequent tuition she now maintains and is control over all aspects of site management and development.

A referral came in from one of the associate companies from the Protector Services Group. Pacific Capital were disappointed with the design and functionality of their existing website, and the complex procedure for performing simple operations like adding new email addresses.
Creating Causes liaised with their existing domain and web host, moving hosting to a new, more reasonable and appropriate host, before designing and creating a new website for them.
CEO of Pacific Capital Partners Jonathan Mitchell is delighted with the 1st edition of the new design – future plans for the site involve including dynamic news and blog sections.
Martini Cocktail Bar, Bistro & Restaurant – Website design & marketing for renowned Millburn, New Jersey USA based award winning Restaurant
Creating Causes were contacted by New jersey, USA based restaurant Martini Bar & Bistro to redesign their website.
We took the colour schemes and logo from their existing corporate image, and created a vibrant, dynamic site. This can better serve their requirements of being able to connect with their existing and new customers using a dynamic website hooked into social media like Facebook and Twitter.
The site is created using a customized WordPress theme, including dynamic blog area and integrated social media. Further work with Martini Bar & Bistro is being discussed including dynamic online food ordering and interactive menus.

Creating Causes were approached by this start up company looking for a simple and clear web presence. The client wanted a fairly low profile site, reflecting his business which works entirely through personal referrals.
Working together, we created the look of the site, worked on the logo, and assisted with letterheads and business cards.

The managers of thee well established family firm invited Creating Causes to develop their first website. They were clear about their requirements – a dynamic site they could maintain them selves, which reflecting their pedigree and integrity, whilst also ranking well in local searches.
After close consultation, the new site was launched – designed specifically so that the staff can simply maintain themselves after careful tuition – editing images, adding new properties,editing the homepage content, and editing all the static pages on the site. Working on a layout produced by Quintessentially Design, I developed the architecture and built the pages, hooking in the web forms feeding into the ‘Salesforce’ Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool offering seamless web – office communication saving time and money and maximizing leads.

Rescue Global – Web design, social media integration & management of multimedia solutions for global Search & Rescue organization
This global organization is assembling teams who are being trained and equipped during the course of this year to respond within 24 hours to major disasters and emergencies worldwide from January 1st 2010.
The site launch was brought forward to August 2009 as the core team were deployed at 12 hours notice to assist with the search and rescue operation to locate a missing US citizen.
The site integrates with several social media programmes, such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc and was built with a customized WordPress theme.
Shave & Son – Website design & SEO for Plymouth based Electrician
Plymouth based electrician Darran Shave approached Creating Causes with a view to creating a simple website highlighting his growing company’s services.
With graphics and images supplied by Darran, his site quickly came together – Creating Causes are now working on an SEO strategy to ensure the site ranks well in local searches.

Shiplake Scramble – Website design & SEO for multi-terrain 10k race
Have previously worked with one of the organizers, Creating Cuases were asked to produce a site for this 10km multi-terrain race being run annually to benefit charities, the first one taking place in May 2010.
The site incorporates graphics and images supplied by the organizers, links to an external booking system, and will accommodate post race stats and pictures once complete. Tuition was also given so that the organizers can develop and maintain the website themselves.

Tharpa Publications – Site Architecture, Design & E-commerce capacity, implementation & management for 15 websites in 7 languages for global publisher

Working with the backend developer in Paris, France during the summer of 2006, Roger Hyde of Creating Causes developed the front end architecture and design, producing a complex e-commerce site.
Working with a team of translators for around the world, the now 15 sites are managed locally through Tharpa’s worldwide branches, in 7 languages – the sites generate 10s of thousands of visits a month driving sales, the profits of which are used to build Temples dedicated to World Peace around the world.
